Job Overview
Vector Logistics is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to support warehouse and dispatch operations in a temperature-controlled environment. The successful candidate will assist with stock checking, documentation, loading processes, cold chain compliance and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
This role is ideal for someone with warehouse, logistics or FMCG experience who can work accurately in a fast-paced environment while following food safety and safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- 2–3 years’ warehouse or dispatch experience in FMCG, food production or cold storage environment
- Warehouse or logistics qualification will be advantageous
- Basic computer literacy
- Forklift licence will be advantageous
- Experience with stock handling, dispatch administration and customer returns
- Knowledge of food safety and cold chain standards will be advantageous
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse and Dispatch Operations
- Check stock quantities, batch numbers and pallet arrangements before dispatch
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as delivery notes, invoices and stock records
- Assist with loading activities to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
- Process customer returns and complete required documentation
- Maintain accurate warehouse records
Stock Control
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely
- Follow FEFO (First Expiry First Out) stock rotation practices
- Monitor stock movement between receiving, cold rooms and loading areas
- Prevent product damage during handling and loading
- Assist with stock count preparations
Cold Chain and Quality Control
- Maintain correct product temperatures
- Complete daily temperature checks and maintain records
- Ensure delivery vehicles are properly cooled before loading
- Report temperature issues or equipment problems
- Maintain cold chain standards to protect product quality
Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and order in warehouse and cold room areas
- Ensure walkways remain clear and safe
- Store cleaning equipment correctly
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Report hazards and safety concerns
