After improving my own job search skills, I helped my mom update her CV and apply for jobs. Within a week, she started receiving interview invitations. That’s when I realised I had developed a valuable skill that could help others improve their chances of getting noticed by employers.
How It All Started
I started Opportunities with Lerato after experiencing the challenges of job hunting myself. Like many South Africans, I struggled to find genuine opportunities and often wondered what employers were really looking for. Those experiences motivated me to learn how to create stronger CVs and submit better job applications.
What We Do Today
Today, Opportunities with Lerato helps job seekers across South Africa by sharing verified job opportunities, creating ATS-friendly CVs, assisting with job applications, setting up online job profiles, and providing practical career support. Our mission is simple: to make job searching easier and help more South Africans get hired.
