Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
- Grade C PSIRA accreditation
- Minimum 3 years’ security experience in retail environments such as shopping malls or warehouses
- Previous shuttle driving experience
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence
- Valid Public Driving Permit (PrDP)
- PSIRA registered
- South African citizen
- Clear criminal and credit record
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide security services according to the Private Security Industry Regulations Act
- Transport security officers safely to and from work
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report faults
- Ensure vehicle licences and documents are up to date
- Operate and maintain the company vehicle safely
- Guard, patrol and protect company property, assets and staff
- Monitor access control and regulate entry to premises
- Conduct staff, supplier and vehicle searches
- Complete registers and occurrence books
- Report suspicious activities, incidents and security risks
- Conduct regular patrols to prevent theft and criminal activity
- Assist during emergency situations and evacuation procedures
- Monitor alarm systems and security equipment
- Maintain discipline and safety during transportation of security staff
- Provide professional customer service to employees, customers and visitors
- Submit detailed incident reports when required

- Good English communication skills (read, write and speak)
