Who Should Apply?

• Have an ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent
• Have no previous experience
• Are physically able to move and distribute stock
• Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills

• Can organise stock and maintain storerooms
• Can operate basic office equipment such as photocopy machines

Key Duties

• Distribute stock from warehouses to different hospital departments
• Move new, redundant and obsolete assets between wards and offices
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory verification
• Investigate stock discrepancies
• Pack and maintain storerooms according to inventory procedures
• Receive, store and distribute Afrox cylinders, liquid solutions and other consumables
• Handle and resolve queries directed to the department
• Deliver medical equipment to relevant wards
• Keep scrapped and condemned assets in the designated area
• Maintain records and file relevant documentation
