This opportunity is suitable for experienced security professionals with PSIRA Grade C, firearm competency and National Keypoint training.

Job Purpose
The role focuses on maintaining a secure environment by enforcing security procedures, protecting assets and people, monitoring security systems and responding to potential threats or emergencies.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- National Keypoint Course Report
- PSIRA Grade C registration
- Valid firearm competency certificate
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce National Key Point security procedures and site security plans
- Conduct regular patrols of the perimeter and internal areas
- Identify and report security breaches, risks and suspicious activities
- Monitor CCTV, alarms and access control systems
- Control access and verify authorised personnel and vehicles
- Maintain accurate security records, incident reports and visitor logs
- Conduct searches of people, vehicles and packages when required
- Respond to emergencies including fire, medical incidents and security threats
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required
