Hollywoodbets is hiring a VIP Security Team Leader to manage security operations and supervise VIP Security Officers in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective security coverage, managing security teams, responding to incidents and protecting company employees, customers and assets.
This opportunity is suitable for experienced security professionals with PSIRA Grade C registration, leadership experience and strong people management skills.

Job Purpose
The VIP Security Team Leader will oversee security officers, ensure security procedures are followed and provide leadership to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
- PSIRA Grade C registration
- 1–3 years’ people management experience
- Matric will be advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise VIP Security Officers and assigned security teams
- Ensure security posts are fully covered
- Monitor staffing levels and shift requirements
- Ensure security duties are performed correctly
- Provide training and guidance to new security officers
- Conduct branch visits and security observations
- Respond to emergencies and report incidents to management
- Detain trespassers or law violators until law enforcement arrives
- Assist with employee interviews, training and performance assessments
- Support disciplinary processes where required
- Maintain professional security standards
- Protect company employees, customers and property
- Liaise with local law enforcement agencies when required
- Assist with timekeeping systems
- Attend required security training programmes
