Hospital Transport & Laundry Support Opportunity
The Department of Health is hiring a Driver Level 3 at Chris Hani Baragwanath Laundry. Requirements

Main Duties
- Transport linen, staff, records and patients to required destinations
- Collect soiled linen and deliver clean linen to wards
- Inspect vehicles before use, including fuel, water, oil and tyres
- Complete vehicle inspection forms and report defects
- Report vehicle accidents and damages immediately
- Maintain vehicle keys, spare wheel, jack and tools
- Keep vehicles clean and in good condition
- Complete vehicle logbooks as required
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are signed for
- Report undelivered or outstanding linen collections
- Provide professional assistance when dealing with enquiries
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures
- Attend meetings and training when required
Important Information
The position requires candidates to follow a rotation roster and comply with hospital laundry procedures. The successful candidate may be required to transport patients to various hospitals and complete internal hospital trips.
