Tiger Brands is recruiting a General Worker to join its team in Isando. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity within one of South Africa’s leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies.
The successful candidate will support daily production operations by performing general labour duties, maintaining workplace standards, assisting with product handling and ensuring compliance with safety and food safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.
- Must be medically and physically fit.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Production and General Labour Activities
- Performing physical labour tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads of up to 25kg.
- Moving and handling materials and products safely.
- Stacking and palletising finished cases onto appropriate pallets.
- Assisting with general production activities as required.
Quality Control and Product Handling
- Inspecting materials and products for defects.
- Completing relevant quality check documentation when required.
- Ensuring products are handled according to company standards.
Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Following workplace safety procedures and protocols.
- Adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Identifying and reporting potential safety risks and assisting with corrective actions.
Food Safety Compliance
- Following Tiger Brands’ food safety policies.
- Maintaining hygiene standards during all work activities.
- Ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
