Permanent Live-In Opportunity | R25 000 – R30 000 Per Month
Top Au Pairs is seeking an experienced, nurturing and highly organised Live-In Au Pair and Educational Assistant to join a family in Constantia, Cape Town.
This is a permanent, long-term position supporting three children aged 3, 5 and 7. The successful candidate will assist with their education, daily routines, activities, school requirements and general care.

- Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 per month, depending on experience
- Accommodation: Private live-in accommodation provided
- Children: 3, aged 3, 5 and 7
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: Approximately 06:30 – 18:30
- Every second weekend
- Flexibility required when needed
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the children’s education, homework and English-language development.
- Planning creative, engaging and age-appropriate educational activities.
- Organising outings, playdates and stimulating activities.
- Managing morning routines.
- Taking children to and from school.
- Coordinating school requirements and extracurricular activities.
- Assisting with appointments and children’s schedules.
- Preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks.
- Organising the children’s belongings, routines and schedules.
- Providing attentive, nurturing and structured care for all three children.
- Maintaining the children’s routines and activities while travelling internationally.
Travel Requirements
International travel will form part of the position, including family travel during December, July and August.
Applicants must:
- Have a valid passport.
- Have a UK or European passport.
- Be available and willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric certificate.
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
- Relevant tertiary qualification strongly preferred, particularly in:
- Foundation Phase Teaching
- Primary Education
- Early Childhood Development
- Related fields
- Professional experience as a teacher, governess, tutor and/or experienced au pair.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- At least three recent, contactable references.
- Genuine interest in a stable, long-term position.
Salary & Benefits
