Minimum Requirements
- Appropriate qualification as a Care Worker (Essential)
- Grade 12 will be advantageous
- Experience in a healthcare environment required
- Knowledge of patient care principles
- Understanding of infection prevention and control principles
- Understanding of stock control principles
- Knowledge of administrative tasks and patient documentation
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support nursing unit staff in delivering safe and quality patient care
- Assist with patient care activities within a team environment
- Identify and report risks according to hospital policies
- Contribute to a positive patient experience
- Provide administrative support to nursing staff
- Ensure stock is used efficiently and accurately charged
- Report and document events and tasks correctly
- Participate in continuous personal development and learning activities
