Main Duties

  • Sweep, mop and buff floors using cleaning equipment
  • Clean walls, windows, doors, bathrooms and public areas
  • Clean corridors, offices, clinics, entrances and waiting areas
  • Remove medical and general waste
  • Clean bins and dispose of waste according to healthcare waste policies
  • Operate heavy-duty cleaning machines
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Handle and store linen
  • Clean refrigerators and kitchen areas
  • Refill soap containers
  • Control kitchen and bathroom stock
  • Keep cleaning trolleys and equipment clean
  • Sort and seal contaminated linen
  • Complete daily cleaning checklists
  • Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures

Working Conditions

The position requires candidates to work shifts, including fixed shifts, after-hours, night duty, weekends and public holidays. Employees must follow infection control procedures and healthcare cleaning standards.
