Requirements
- AET/ABET Level 3 or equivalent Grade 7 qualification
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures

Main Duties
- Sweep, mop and buff floors using cleaning equipment
- Clean walls, windows, doors, bathrooms and public areas
- Clean corridors, offices, clinics, entrances and waiting areas
- Remove medical and general waste
- Clean bins and dispose of waste according to healthcare waste policies
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning machines
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Handle and store linen
- Clean refrigerators and kitchen areas
- Refill soap containers
- Control kitchen and bathroom stock
- Keep cleaning trolleys and equipment clean
- Sort and seal contaminated linen
- Complete daily cleaning checklists
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety procedures
Working Conditions
The position requires candidates to work shifts, including fixed shifts, after-hours, night duty, weekends and public holidays. Employees must follow infection control procedures and healthcare cleaning standards.
