SANCO is hiring a Code 10/14 Driver to join its team in Dibeng. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with a valid Code 10/14 driver’s licence, PDP for Dangerous Goods and professional driving experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials, conducting vehicle checks and following mine safety procedures.

About the Opportunity
The Driver will be responsible for transporting materials within the mining area while ensuring vehicles are maintained, roadworthy and operated according to safety requirements. The role requires a reliable and safety-conscious driver who can work in a mining environment.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence – Code 10/14.
- Valid PDP for Dangerous Goods.
- Previous professional driving experience with good references.
- Previous mine driving experience will be advantageous.
- Valid Mine Medical Clearance or ability to pass a medical examination.
- Clean driving and criminal record.
- Basic knowledge of trucks and vehicle maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable and professional.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with:
Driving & Transportation
- Safely transporting and delivering materials within the mining area.
- Safely manoeuvring vehicles in confined areas around mine equipment.
- Following mine safety regulations and traffic procedures.
Vehicle Checks & Maintenance
- Conducting daily vehicle pre-start inspections.
- Reporting vehicle faults and maintenance issues promptly.
- Performing basic vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
- Maintaining accurate trip logs and delivery/service records.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and hygiene standards in the vehicle.
Safety Compliance
- Identifying and reporting potential safety or vehicle problems.
- Complying with company policies, procedures and supervisor instructions.
