The Department of Health is hiring a Driver to provide transport services for patients, officials, equipment, documents and parcels. The role involves safe vehicle operation, maintaining vehicle records and supporting hospital transport needs.

- Hold a valid Code 10 (EC1) driver’s licence with PDP

Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
- 1–3 years’ experience in driving/messenger services
- Valid Code 10 (EC1) driver’s licence with PDP
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work shifts and standby duties
Main Duties
- Transport patients, officials and equipment to different locations
- Deliver and collect official documents when required
- Collect and deliver post and parcels
- Assist with loading and offloading of goods
- Take vehicles for servicing and repairs
- Maintain records of fuel, oil receipts and vehicle documents
- Keep the allocated vehicle clean and in good condition
- Ensure safe and responsible use of the vehicle
