Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, balconies and housekeeping areas
- Perform general cleaning, deep cleaning and sanitisation
- Prepare rooms according to hotel standards
- Ensure guest amenities, linen, supplies and minibars are replenished
- Complete evening turndown services when required
- Maintain cleanliness of pantries, trolleys and storage areas
- Ensure guest rooms are presented to a high standard
Guest Service
- Provide friendly and professional service to hotel guests
- Help create a positive guest experience
- Respond to guest needs while maintaining service standards
- Work with other departments to ensure guest requests are handled effectively
Safety and Quality Standards
- Follow housekeeping procedures and hotel standards
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Report maintenance issues and damaged items
- Safeguard assigned keys and hotel property
- Report lost and found items according to procedures
- Follow health, safety and hygiene requirements
