Minimum Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
Patient Care
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience.
- Monitor patients and report concerns regarding patient safety and wellbeing.
Safety and Quality Care
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, preventing and reporting risks to ensure patient safety.
- Following infection prevention and control procedures.
- Applying nursing procedures and relevant healthcare standards.
- Supporting a culture of patient safety.
Records and Equipment Management
The candidate will:
- Maintain accurate and complete records of nursing interventions.
- Ensure patient information is documented correctly.
- Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately recorded.
Team Support and Development
The successful candidate will:
- Work effectively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
- Support teamwork within the healthcare environment.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have knowledge of:
- Infection prevention and control.
- Basic Life Support.
