Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10–12 (Grade 12 preferred)
- 1–2 years’ experience in cleaning within industrial, agricultural or logistics operations will be an advantage
- Basic cleaning or safety training will be advantageous
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety practices when working around heavy machinery
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Safety awareness and attention to detail
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across operational areas
- Perform cleaning of loading zones, workshops, offices, ablution facilities and storage areas
- Remove debris, mud, spills and waste from work areas
- Maintain safe and clean walkways and equipment areas
- Collect and dispose of waste according to site procedures
- Follow safety rules and use required PPE
- Identify and report hazards, spills and unsafe conditions
- Clean and maintain tools and cleaning equipment
- Complete cleaning checklists and report completed tasks
- Assist teams to maintain safe working conditions
